Abstract
Significant intensification of the student’s speech-cognitive activity can be achieved by using authentic material, including video recordings in a foreign language. The term authentic educational video material is understood as a thematically organized, adequate stage of teaching a foreign language. The use of such materials makes it possible to give the learning process a communicative and cognitive character. Acquaintance of students with real communication in specific social circles and conditions, demonstrates emotional coloring, natural pace and rhythm of speech, thereby forming the idea of different ways of communication.

Abstract
The article deals with a part of the language image of the world representing the concept of virtuousness/morality. The article examines 23 paremiological units most frequently used in the modern Spanish language which contain didactic aphorisms thematically related to the rules of good form in the society. Being the source of folk wisdom and experience, Spanish proverbs and sayings ("refranes") reflect some national peculiarities of the image of the world typical of Spanish speakers. From this perspective, therefore, the analysis of proverbial material enables the access to the language image of the world of a nation as a whole, thus facilitating the possibility to recognize and assess its cultural peculiarities. The author of the article presents a classification of the proverbs in question, as well as looks at some paremiological units in the Russian language equivalent or similar in their meaning to their Spanish counterparts.

Abstract
This article raises the theme of early American literature, which was created from the founding of American colonies to the declaration of independence in 1776. Puritan philosophy and ideology, their religious teachings are highlighted, because it was the Puritans who formed the basis of the first New England settlements. The following is a characteristic of the genre features of the works of that period and the work of the most prominent representatives of American literature of the colonial period is studied. Particular attention is paid to William Bradford and his work "History of the settlement in Plymouth" as one of the characteristic examples of that era. The problems of determining the main ideas that the author pursued when writing his work, the genre specificity of the work is raised. Analyzing the stylistic features of the translation of this work, we study the opinion of foreign and domestic literary scholars of our time.

Abstract
The peculiarities of translating movie titles containing idiomatic or phraseological turns, as well as slang terms are considered in the Article. The main difficulties of translating semantically indivisible turns in headings are analyzed. The necessity of taking into account linguistic and cultural factors in translation is emphasized.

Abstract
The article deals with the problem of verbal manipulation. The study discusses manipulative strategies in a modern English and Russian advertising discourse. Based on the material of popular perfume advertising slogans, it analyses linguistic means of expression of these strategies, as well as the ways of their translation from English into Russian. The article also touches upon general principles of creation of an effective advertising text. Taking into account the structure of an advertising text and manipulative strategies and tactics used in it, the article shows the ways of transcreation of such an English advirtising text while translating it into Russian. The article also describes such a term as “implicature”.

Abstract
In the article given one renders the concept of psychopathology being investigated through the study of the issue of psychologism in V. Nabokov`s novels (on the basis of “Camera Obscura”, “The Luzhin defense”, “Lolita”). Psychopathology is researched as a simulacrum in the context of the multiple social, spiritual, moral norms disruptions by a separate person. Psychologism and psychopathology represented in V. Nabokov`s novels are studied as one of the most distinctive peculiarities of a postmodern literature period.

Abstract
The paper is devoted to considering approaches to studying psychological features of emotional burning out in university teachers’ professional pedagogical activity. The author analyzes various models of understanding the professional stress, applied by Russian and foreign researchers; factors affecting the development of the syndrome of burning out in the pedagogical environment, which allows to further generate a rather effective system of psychological correction of the syndrome of emotional burning out in university teachers’ professional pedagogical activity.
