Abstract
The article presents a comparative review of approaches to the classification of generations. It has been demonstrated that representatives of different age groups have differences in ideas about certain phenomena of the surrounding world. The socio-psychological characteristics of the X, Y, Z generations are considered. It has been proven that the characteristics of a generation become a marker, which are oriented when making decisions in the field of education, management, marketing, and social development. It is noted that in the present time there are additional difficulties of interaction between generations. The differences and features of the interaction of representatives of different generations in the information field are revealed.

The article describes the relevance and importance of the formation of literate writing. It considers the approaches of different authors to the definition of the concept “orthographic awareness”. It also stresses the importance of development of orthographic abilities on the primary level of learning. It detects the methods used in teaching orthography. Abstract
The article deals with some aspects of the theory of accentuation of the Russian language concerning the problem of accent variability, such as: localization of accent variability in the word, the normative status of accent variants and the problem of its definition, the criteria of normativity, normative gradation, dialect and regional bases of accent variants, explicit and implicit forms of Russian accent, correlation of reported and actual use of accent in speech by native speakers of the literary Russian language. The researches of Russian and foreign accentologists were involved for an analysis of these theoretical issues - of S. Tornow, K. S. Gorbachevich, E. Marklund Sharapova, N. A. Es’kova etc.

Abstract
This article is dedicated to the translation analysis of the headlines of the British newspaper “The Guardian”. The study of newspaper headlines and methods of their transfer from a foreign language into Russian is relevant in a constant flow of information. Newspaper headlines are of great importance in modern life as they perform the task of attracting the reader's attention and conveying essential information at the same time. In this work, we review in detail the types of translation transformations by which the English-language titles are translated. Considerable attention is paid to particular examples of headlines and the identification of their translation specifics. Based on the study of the features of the newspaper headlines translation, the most frequently used transformations in the translation into Russian are identified and detailed statistics are given.

Abstract
This article is devoted to peculiarities of the meaning and functioning of proper names in comparison to common names. The relevance of the topic is conditioned by the varieties of views of scientists exploring the theory of proper name. Some say that proper names are deprived of semantic meaning, others think that the semantic value of the proper name is conditioned by its immediate connection to the object named. Nevertheless, both sides agree that proper names must be allocated to a separate group of nouns and they should function in accordance with some specific rules. The authors of this article take the view of those researchers who agree that proper names have some specific features that have nothing to do with the peculiarities of common names. In this article the status and the etymology of proper name are analysed. There is also an exploration of some extra-linguistic factors that contribute the assignment of proper names in the language system and their functioning in language itself.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the mother-son relationship in the novels of F. M. Dostoevsky as a significant part of the writer’s artistic genderology. The most productive is the comparative analysis of the novels “Crime and Punishment” and “Demons”, in which the relations of mothers and sons are revealed with psychological certainty. The bi-directionality of the emotional connection between Raskolnikov and his mother is an example of family unity, emphasizes the humanity of the hero. In the novel “Crime and Punishment” Raskolnikov at different stages of life is accompanied by two heroines - mother and Sonya Marmeladova - in whom the maternal element is very strong. In the novel "Demons" the soul connection is one-direction - from mother to son. This excludes the possibility of the “protective” influence of Varvara Petrovna or Dasha on the personality and fate of Nikolai Stavrogin.Keywords : artistic gender; generational gender; maternal beginning; motive; female image; male image.
