Punctuation of Sentences with one Grammatical Basis in Modern Languages with Different Systems (Based on the Material of English, Russian and Kalmyk Scientific, Publicistic and Artistic Styles)
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of punctuation in multisystem languages. The author tries to identify the modern punctuation in simple sentences in three languages and three styles. The main attention is paid to the development of the dash usage throughout the 20th - 21st centuries in scientific, publicistic and artistic styles in English, Russian and Kalmyk languages.
