Abstract
The study is devoted to the role of auditory in modern media discourse. The development of technologies leads to a significant change in the nature of the media text — the media text is increasingly focused on the culture of auditory. The author substantiates the need for a new methodology to study the phenomenon of auditory in the modern media space
